John serves as Global Managing Partner, CEO, and Chair of the Board of Directors at Northwise, guiding worldwide strategy and day-to-day operations while protecting the firm’s distinctive culture. Over more than two decades with Northwise, he has counseled chief executives around the world and is widely respected for his work in transaction advisory and building value in portfolio companies.
His experience spans private equity, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and consumer goods. John is active in sustainability efforts and sits on the board of a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting childhood cancer. He earned master’s degrees in civil engineering and in multilingual business communication from the University of Ghent and works out of New York.
